Absolutely. We never boot your operating system or access your files. Devices go straight to secure obliteration using NIST 800-88 Purge standard wiping (PartedMagic for standard or Blancco for Premium). If a device cannot be wiped it will be degaussed (HDDs) or shredded (SSDs).

Our processing facility is in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. Our own vans travel all over mainland Great Britain on a regular basis — the only real test is whether a collection justifies the time and fuel, which usually comes down to quantity rather than distance. Haulage is available on top for larger loads. We cover mainland Great Britain only — we are not able to collect from Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or the Scottish islands, because ferry and cross-border costs make those journeys impractical. You can also drop off equipment at our facility if you prefer.

If it plugs in and processes data, we almost certainly handle it — laptops, desktops, servers, networking gear, phones, tablets, AV equipment, cabling and more. We're strictly IT WEEE specialists, so no fridges or hoovers.

Locked devices (iCloud, Intune, Entra ID) significantly limit our ability to extract value, so we ask that devices are unenrolled before collection. A fee may be charged per locked device to cover our costs, but we'll always send you a list first so you have a chance to unlock them before any charge applies.

Every collection comes with chain-of-custody documentation and a basic certificate of data destruction, at no charge. Serialised asset logging — where every device is recorded individually by make, model and serial number — is a Premium feature, and a fee may be charged to cover the extra work — we confirm it in your quote before collection. Premium also includes tamper-proof Blancco Certificates of Destruction per device and ESG data for your sustainability reporting.

Everything is pushed back into the circular economy. Refurb first, then parts recovery, then raw material recycling through licensed downstream partners. We never send IT WEEE to landfill — full stop. All downstream partners must hold equivalent or better licences and certifications to ours.
