What can be saved, will be saved. Refurbishment first, parts recovery second, raw material recycling last — and nothing to landfill at any stage.
IT Asset Disposition is the managed process of retiring IT equipment so that data is destroyed, value is recovered, environmental obligations are met and the whole thing is documented. It is distinct from plain recycling, which only addresses the last part — and distinct from a house clearance firm with a van, which addresses none of it.
We work down a hierarchy, and we only move to the next step when the one above is genuinely exhausted:
This is why most collections are free. We fund the operation through refurbishment and remarketing rather than by charging you a disposal fee. When a load has recoverable value, that value covers the work. When it genuinely does not — old CRTs, dead printers, water-damaged kit — we tell you upfront and quote a clear price. No surprises either way.
"Zero landfill" is claimed widely and audited rarely. Ours means IT WEEE we handle does not go to landfill at any point, and that every downstream partner we use must hold licences and certifications equivalent to or better than our own. A zero-landfill promise is only as good as the weakest operator in the chain behind it, which is why we control who is in ours.
If it plugs in and processes data, we almost certainly handle it — laptops, desktops, servers, storage arrays, networking and comms equipment, phones, tablets, monitors, AV equipment, printers, handheld scanners and cabling.
We are strictly IT WEEE specialists. We do not take fridges, washing machines, catering equipment or general white goods — not because they are beneath us, but because our licences and processes are built specifically around data-bearing IT equipment, and doing one thing properly beats doing everything adequately.
Devices still locked to iCloud, Intune or Entra ID cannot be refurbished or resold, which removes the value that funds free collection. We charge £25 per locked device — but we always send you the list first so you have the chance to release them before any charge applies. Our MDM removal guide walks through how to unenrol devices properly.
Tell us roughly what you have and we will give you a straight answer on cost, timing and paperwork.
