ISO 9001 and ISO 14001: certificates of commitment

Centre for Assessment, a UKAS-accredited certification body, has issued Revolve ITAD Solutions with certificates of commitment to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management). Both cover the provision of IT equipment recycling, refurbishment, re-marketing, asset disposal and secure data destruction services.

A certificate of commitment is not ISO certification. It confirms that our management has committed to running these systems and to having them independently certified. Certification follows a successful audit. Ours are booked and we are waiting for the site visit. Until certificates are issued, we will not describe ourselves as ISO certified.

Are you ISO certified?

Not yet, and we will not claim to be. We hold certificates of commitment to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 from Centre for Assessment, a UKAS-accredited certification body. Our audits are booked and we are awaiting the site visit. ISO 27001 is planned for a later stage.
What is a certificate of commitment?

It confirms that a company’s senior management has committed to putting a management system in place and having it independently certified to the standard. It is a step on the way to certification, not certification itself, which is only issued after a successful audit.
How can I check your waste carrier registration?
