Wigan sits where the M6, M58 and M61 meet, which makes it one of the busiest warehouse and distribution areas in the North West, and a big source of retired IT.
Wigan is about forty miles from our facility in Sowerby Bridge, under an hour along the M62 and M61. It is the far side of Greater Manchester from us, but the same motorway network we use for Rochdale and Manchester.
We book Wigan collections around your timing and the size of the load rather than a fixed weekly slot. Warehouse and office clear-outs are well worth the journey, and a few days of flexibility helps us keep collections free where the equipment holds recoverable value.

Logistics drives much of Wigan's economy. The distribution centres around the motorway junctions run fleets of handheld scanners, vehicle-mount terminals, label printers, rugged tablets and transport office desktops, and they tend to replace them all at once when a contract changes. That is a big, mixed load, and exactly the kind of collection we are set up for.

Many devices in a logistics fleet are enrolled in a mobile device management system. A locked device cannot be resold, so a fee may be charged per locked device to cover costs. We always send you the list first, so you can release them before any charge applies.
Distribution sites usually have gatehouse security and booked loading bays. Tell us the site, the gate and the bay when you book, and we will arrive in the slot you give us.
