Upgrading your fleet? Rather than simply recycling your old hardware, Revolve ITAD Solutions offers competitive buyback rates for surplus equipment, turning depreciating assets back into capital. Data destruction and compliance documentation are still part of the deal — buyback does not mean skipping the security process.

Eligibility criteria

To qualify for our laptop buyback programme, equipment needs to meet the following:

• Minimum quantity: 10 identical laptops per buyback order.
• Supported brands: Dell, HP and Lenovo.
• Operating system: devices must be fully Windows 11 compatible.
• General condition: full working order, supplied with original chargers.
• Screen condition: excellent — free of pressure marks, dead pixels and scratches.

How the process works

1. Submit your inventory. Make, model, specification and quantity.
2. Receive a valuation. We assess market value and give you a competitive offer.
3. Secure collection. If you accept, we arrange collection on the same secure, documented basis as any other job.
4. Processing and payment. Devices go through our data sanitisation and testing protocols, then payment is issued directly to your organisation.

What reduces a valuation

Being straightforward about this saves everyone time:

• MDM or account locks. A device still enrolled in Intune, Entra ID or iCloud cannot be resold, which removes its value entirely — and attracts a £25 per-device charge. Our MDM removal guide covers how to release them properly.
• Missing chargers. Replacements cost money and come off the offer.
• Screen damage. Pressure marks and dead pixels are the most common reason a batch drops a grade.
• Mixed configurations. Ten identical machines are worth more than ten different ones, because they can be sold as a batch.
• Asset tags and engraving. Permanent marking reduces resale value; adhesive labels generally do not.

Value falls faster than you think

Business laptops depreciate steeply, and the drop accelerates once a model falls outside mainstream support. Equipment sitting in a store room "until we get round to it" is losing value every month. If you know a refresh is coming, get the valuation early — the offer on kit retired promptly is materially better than on the same kit eighteen months later.
