Hull is the eastern end of the M62. Liverpool is the western end. Our facility sits a few minutes from junction 24, roughly in the middle, so Merseyside is one long straight run rather than a cross-country trip.
Liverpool is around sixty miles from our Sowerby Bridge facility, and the route could not be simpler: onto the M62 at junction 24 and stay on it until it runs out at the edge of the city. It is the same motorway we use every week for Rochdale and Manchester. Liverpool is simply further along it.
We should be straight about how we schedule it. Liverpool is not a weekly stop in the way Manchester is. We plan Merseyside collections around our Greater Manchester runs, so a few days of flexibility on your side makes a real difference to how quickly we can get to you and whether the collection stays free. A load of any reasonable size is worth the journey. A single laptop is better posted to us than collected.
We cover Liverpool city centre and the commercial district, the Knowledge Quarter, the Baltic Triangle, the docks and Seaforth, Speke and the airport corridor, and the towns along the M62 on the way in: Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn and St Helens.

The Port of Liverpool shapes much of the city region's economy, and the logistics and distribution operations around it run the IT you would expect: handheld fleets, vehicle-mount terminals, transport office desktops and warehouse systems, retired in large batches. The same is true of the distribution parks along the M62 at Warrington, which sit directly on our route.
The Knowledge Quarter brings together three universities, a major teaching hospital and science park tenants, and research and clinical estates there retire high-value workstations holding sensitive data. Alder Hey and the city's acute trusts make Liverpool a significant NHS market too. Add the professional and financial services firms around the commercial district, a digital and creative cluster in the Baltic Triangle, and automotive and advanced manufacturing out towards Halewood and Speke, and almost every kind of work we do turns up somewhere in the city region.
Most of our competitors on Merseyside are either local recyclers or national brokers who subcontract the van. We are neither. Your equipment travels in our own unmarked, GPS-tracked vehicle, straight down the M62 to our licensed facility, where it is sanitised to NIST 800-88 Rev 2 Purge standard and documented. There is no intermediate depot and no third party handling it on the way.
That matters most for the regulated end of the Liverpool market. Law firms, insurers, healthcare providers and the universities all need destruction they can evidence, not a weighbridge ticket. On our Premium service, every device is recorded against its serial number with a tamper-evident Certificate of Destruction, where a fee may be charged to cover costs.
City centre buildings in Liverpool often have timed loading and shared goods lifts that need booking. Tell us the building, the floor and any building management requirements when you book, so the collection takes an hour rather than a morning.
Tell us roughly what you have and we will come back with a straight answer on cost and timing.
